Charletons history of Newcastle upon Tyne from the earliest records to its formation as a city in 1882
Georgii Eglisemmii Scoti, Doctoris Medici Regi, Accurata methodus erigendi thematis natalitii, in diebus criticis disquirendis
We should not be surprised at the fact that anyone can lie to us, straight to our faces, at any given time. It happens at almost every holiday get together and makes people very uncomfortable…to the point of not even wanting to go.
On the other hand, neither does it mean that the strong only put up with or endure or tolerate the weak, like a person who tolerates someone who annoys him.
David escaped, and continued to come back and serve Saul. At such times, God enlightened and guided me with His words so that I could understand His intentions, see His love and see His salvation. The only solution I have found is to distance myself from the person and not be a part of the choir anymore.
You too can grow in character, strength, intimacy with God, and leadership like David did when you continue to press on and obey God in the midst of being treated unjustly. And this is exactly how God wants us to be in our everyday lives.
God alone is able to change a person, so plead with him on behalf of other people. Maybe he or she is your supervisor or employer. I push hard to get out of bed every day. Different people have talked to him about this over the years, including his wife, my family member, and it seems to help for a short time at the most.
Assume you need to be corrected. Pray that God will create a culture in your church that desires to help each other grow.
Obviously, this does not apply to situations where you or another person are facing physical danger or emotional abuse from an offending individual.
Thank God for His enlightenment and guidance.
Samuel felt pretty bad about the situation.
Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God "is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think," and so we should ask His help in dealing with the manipulative people around us.
