This was a very enjoyable Dance of dreams. But when they are partnered in a sensual new ballet, they must fight hard to control the rising attraction between them.
The mission of SF Ballet is to share its joy of dance with the widest possible audience—in its community and worldwide—and to provide the highest caliber of dance training in its School. The characters are so fleshed out, and not just because I already know them frombut because they are well developed.
Dance Project; and Christopher Wheeldon, artistic associate of the Royal Ballet, each worked remotely—three from New York and one from Los Angeles—with FaceTime and Zoom aiding in the process.
Choreographer Janie Taylor is a dancer and stager with L. :D This is the only book, that whenever I feel sad I just pick it up and re-read it. Nick has been her mentor, coach, friend and enemy for years. I'm glad I found this book again.
To view it, I was disappointed. The city settings for the individual dances—two solos and two duets—provide a world and light all their own. Ruth is a really good character too, she is fierce and stands up to herself, which I really like in her. But when they are partnered in a sensual new ballet, they must fight hard to control the rising attraction between them.
I am awarding this an extra star for the heroine's excellent pet cat. They have known each other for years. Perfect writing of a perfect story!! But when they are partnered in a passionate new ballet, their chemistry—both on and off the stage—becomes impossible to ignore.
Five years of intense training and conditioning to achieve the physical perfection her impulsive mentor demands of all his dancers. Now, I will need to find the first one. Nikolai Davidov is everything Dance of dreams ever dreamed of in a guy! I enjoyed Ruth a lot.
I will pause here while you go add it to your to-read list.
I have a stack of them just ready for some such time.
I enjoyed the turns and twists in the storyline.
I'd forgotten its title and the names of the characters, but as soon as I started reading, I knew this was the one.
